SCEC COMPLETES PROJECT AT LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA'S PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX

SCEC recently completed a project for the Town of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea at its Public Safety Complex.

The Construction Management at Risk project included construction of a parking lot for the Town's Fire Rescue, Police and EMT departments. To help the new area better connect to the remainder of the Town Hall complex, SCEC added new ADA sidewalks, landscape and streetscape improvements along the A1A corridor and at the entrance to the adjacent Jarvis Hall. New pole lighting fixtures were designed to comply with sea turtle lighting requirements due to the proximity to the ocean.

Flynn Engineering Services of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea provided civil engineering services for the project, and Architectural Alliance of Fort Lauderdale provided landscape design.
