SCEC has completed two renovation projects at Bear Lakes Middle School in West Palm Beach. The project features school-wide removal and replacement of plumbing fixtures, electric water heaters, electric water coolers, toilet partitions and accessories, bathroom flooring, walls and wall tiles, and bathroom painting. All boiler room equipment was replaced.

Interior renovations of finishes included new VCT flooring and vinyl base, painting and ceiling tiles replacement in classrooms, administration and common areas. Scope also included school-wide millwork repairs and window treatment replacement.

The majority of work was completed during summer break and renovated areas were operational for start of school year. Because SCEC completed work in one summer instead of the two allotted, the project was completed 219 days early.

SCEC completed the project under its Continuing Contract for Construction Management at Risk services with the School District of Palm Beach County.
